During my time at the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, I gained hands-on experience in both broadcast television and radio. I was a member of the university’s DuckTV program, where I focused on sports reporting. I also joined the KWVA radio sports team, where I gained valuable experience in play-by-play broadcasting, podcasting, and radio production.

In my senior year, I was a part of the broadcast journalism capstone program. In this program, my peers and I produced weekly half-hour broadcast news programs. My roles throughout the course included sports anchor, news anchor, producer, and reporter.
